A welcome home.

It was a horrid, windy, wet walk that block and a half from the bus stop. The rain in San Francisco is always so cold. I, of course, forgot my umbrella. I put on my hood before exiting the bus and scurried  toward the house. I arrived at the door, fumbling for my keys because they're stuck in a hole in my pocket. I notice the light is on in my room before I even open the front door. The soft amber glow dimly lighting the stairs welcomed me. I wondered "Did I leave the light on? Maybe there's a visitor."

Either way, with the wind blowing the rain in my face I eagerly rushed into satiating my curiosity.

I must have left the lights on.

I removed my coat and my slightly damp, blue canvas sneakers. I threw my belongings haphazardly across the couch, and then I spotted it. Them. Two chunks of dog shit. Chauncey. I let out a sigh as I opened to curtain to my room to get my roommate. Darrell was already standing there.

I led him to the scene of the crime and he proclaimed the dog's innocence, blaming it on one of the other two furry residents. I wasn't too concerned with who did it. We cleaned it up.

I started to get ready to take a shower and I noticed the garbage can was tipped over. Then i noticed several rose petals scattered across the room.

No, not rose petals. A tampon. Or what was once a tampon. Pieces were randomly scattered throughout the room. About ten of them. The remnants had been ripped to shreds and looked like they were licked dry.

I laughed, of course. then picked up the pieces. I swear I walked by Chauncey later and he winked at me. Shudder.

And the moral of this story?

Tampons taste good to dogs. Hide them well in dog inhabited homes.

In other news...

I started to make a video tonight. Set up a little scene with monsters and creatures and filmed it. I got bored of it though and quit to write this. I should probably sleep since I'm up early tomorrow.

Squishy item of the day: Chauncey poop
Bloody item of the day: slaughtered tampon

Goodnight, my friends.

I knew it would rain today.

Making the most of my sick days.

I have been home sick with a cold for 4 days straight. I didn't want to just lay in bed hacking and sneezing all day so i tried to get some things done. I had a second wind last night.

Here, I rearranged and cleaned the bedroom.

Then I made some bracelets for Valentine's day. The one with the pink button is for Leila, the huge button is for Sharlene, and the bee is for Alexandra. I still have to finish them.

I also played dressup a little.

Then I made a special Valentines Day photo.

Sweet dreams.

A song for you

All this that is more than a wish is a memory
All this that is ceases to be
All is revealed
The obvious door opens nothing
Nothing, nothing left, nothing left
Nothing left to chance

When you try to see, we'll watch you
When you try to leave, we'll keep you
When you should be dreaming, we'll wake you
But don't scream, we'll make you swallow your words

Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours
For graphs of passion and charts of stars
Gave them our reactions, our explosions all that we are
For graphs of passion and charts of stars

How ending starts
Ending starts with answers.
